David L. Clarke's Obituary
David Leopold Clarke was born on September 9, 1946 in Arima, Trinidad, West Indies. He was born to loving parents, Leopold Augustus Clarke, who hailed from Maracaibo, Venezuela and Sybil Marjorie Clarke, nee, Bagnall from Port of Spain. He was christened at the Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity in December 1946. David proudly served in the U.S. Army and Navy, and retired as a Pinellas County corrections officer.
David is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Lou Myrtle, in addition to his daughter, Candace, his son, David Jr., his eldest sisters Cynthia, Judith, and Valerie, and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces.
David was a wonderful husband, father and friend who loved his family deeply and passionately. We know that he is smiling and dancing with the angels now, but he will be loved and missed dearly.
