Darren Owen's Obituary
Darren James Owen was born on December 14, 1960 and passed away on February 23, 2018. He was born in Canada and immigrated to the United States in 1967 where he lived in Dayton, Ohio. In 1976 he and his family moved to New Port Rickey, Florida.
Darren attended Gulf High School where he wrestled and won numerous awards. He graduated in 1979 and joined the military to sail the high seas as a proud Navy Sailor. He loved defending our country and participating in the military brotherhood. Darren retired from the military after 20 years of service.
Darren was the proud father of Bryan Darren Owen, who is actively pursuing a masters in computer science.
Darren will be missed by family, friends, and the Navy sailors that continue to protect us on the high seas.
