Danny Reed's Obituary
Danny James Reed, 79, passed on the morning of Wednesday June 27th, 2018.
A resident of New Port Richey Florida, he was born in Otway, Ohio on the 28th of December, 1939 to the parents of Milford Daniel and Grace Beatrice (Courtney) Reed. In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his four brothers: Estel, Milford, Jerry, and Larry, and his five sisters: Kathryn, Evelyn, Vera, Mary, and Phyllis. He is survived by his loving wife Jan Reed; his daughters Tammy Nearing (Reed) and Donna Pysar; son-in-law Dwight Nearing; granddaughter Victoria Nearing; grandson Bobby Pysar; and sister Peggy Strevel.
Danny served in the Air Force stateside from 1957 through 1961, and worked at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department until his retirement in 1995. Along with being an avid boater, his favorite pastimes included fishing, golfing, bowling, and watching sports on TV. He was a family man and loved being with his family and spending time together; one of his biggest enjoyments was to watch his granddaughter play softball. A patient and reasonable man, father, and husband, he will be dearly missed.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, June 30th 2018 at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Trinity Florida. Burial to follow service.
