Dan Tacker's Obituary
Dan was born in Moscow, TN and currently resided in Zephyrhills, FL. Following a long illness, Dan passed away peacefully in the care of Gulfside Hospice. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Tacker and Leora Stephens Tacker of Moscow, TN., and an infant grandson.
Dan was a beloved district parts and service manager for Kia Motors America and American Isuzu. His passion in life was his family, American Western culture and Jesus Christ. He had an enormous collection of western memorabilia, especially John Wayne movies, photos and books. Dan loved people and that love was evident to all who were fortunate enough to know him. His distinctive laugh will be missed by all.
He is survived by his adoring wife of 33 years, Ilene Reiss Tacker, Zephyrhills, Fl, three children, Michael Tacker, Atlanta, GA, Mark Tacker, Irwin, TN, and Cathryn DeBord, Dawsonville, GA., 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. Donations may be made in Dan’s honor to First Methodist Church, Zephyrhills, FL., St. Jude, Memphis, TN., and Tunnel to Towers.
