Cynthia Ann Pearce's Obituary
Cynthia Ann Pearce, 80, of Bradenton, FL passed away peacefully on July 10, 2022. Ann grew up in Philadelphia, PA and raised her family in Broomall, PA with her beloved husband of 60 years, James A. Pearce. Ann and Jim retired to Country Place Village in New Port Richey, FL and lived there for 16 years. In 2020 they moved to Palm Lake Estates in Bradenton, FL to be closer to one of her daughters. Ann loved life and the people she surrounded herself with. She was affectionately referred to by many as “Mom” or “Aunt Ann” before eventually becoming “MomMom”, even by those who were not blood related. Ann will be dearly missed and always remembered.
Ann is survived by sisters, Dorothy “Joan” DiProspero and Joyce Ross (and husband, Jerry); brother, James Adams (and wife, Becky); children, Patricia Bonfig and Susan Jones (and husband, Terry); grandchildren, Charles “Chip” Bonfig, Caitlin Hoffmann (and husband, Ray), Amanda Jones, Trevor Jones, and Julie Bonfig; great grandchild, Theodore “Teddy” Hoffmann; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and countless friends. Ann is predeceased by her parents, Dorothy Adams and Thomas Adams; brothers, Thomas Adams and Paul Adams; sister-in law, Eileen Adams and brother-in-law, Joseph DiProspero.
Friends and family are invited to join Ann’s loved ones at one of two gatherings being held in her honor to celebrate her beautiful life. Please come for a light lunch, while we share memories or stories about all the wonderful ways Ann touched your lives. Her family requests that you dress in white or colorful clothing, as Ann would desire all to be joyful in her memory. We will gather in Pennsylvania on August 7th, noon–3pm at The Broomall Fire Company, 1 N. Malin Rd, Broomall, PA and in Florida on August 14th, noon-3pm at Country Place Village, 2601 Country Place Blvd, New Port Richey, FL.
