Cristina Johnson's Obituary
Cristina Johnson, age 74, of Lutz, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025.
Born in Bogota, Colombia to the late Maria and Luis Alberto, Cristina grew up in a loving family and remained close to her siblings Islena, Emma, Fernando (deceased), Delfina, Luis, and Ana Maria, who continue to cherish her memory.
Cristina devoted many years to working in daycare services with young infants—work that was not only her career but her true calling. She had a special gift for caring for children, offering warmth, patience, and joy to every little one she encountered. Her passion for nurturing young lives touched countless families and left a lasting impact on her community.
Cristina was a woman filled with joy, love, and an open heart. She adored her family, loved dancing, and took pride in making everyone feel welcome in her home. Her greatest happiness came from time spent with those she loved.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Bill Johnson; her sons Juan (Jennifer), Diego (Diana), and Felipe (Erika) Polanco; as well as her extended family and many friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
A funeral Mass will be held on December 20th at 12:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 12708 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33618. Interment will follow at 2:00 https://p.m.at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, FL 34655.
