Connie was a wonderful, inspirational person, such a great mother, and a joy to be around. She will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Regards,
Davie, Rick, and Travis.
I will hold on my heart the memory of your beautiful face welcoming smile and kind heart.
We never understand why these things happen. Not sure if it was a reason for us to come together or become closer as friends or family.
I know that Connie knew that " Every day is a gift " . In the Tributes to Connie - these things are apparent: She made us Smile even when we were sad. She loved her sons and always proud of them . She loved her Husband Mark and will always make him smile when he thinks of her or sees the things she has touched. She made many friends because of her warmth and outgoing spirit. She loved to cook and give hugs. Connie also loved to Laugh.
Here are a couple of quotes that I would like to share with the family and friends.
"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. " ( Leo Buscaglia )
You know, the ancient Egyptians had a beautiful belief about death. When their souls got to the entrance to heaven, the guards asked two questions. Their answers determined whether they were able to enter or not. ‘Have you found joy in your life?’ ‘Has your life brought joy to others?’”
We will continue to pray for Mark , Mark and Nicholas to heal their hearts
My husband and I lived two doors down from Connie and her family in Tampa before they moved to Odessa. She and Mark set such an admirable example for my husband and I as we were starting our life. We witnessed two incredibly loving and involved parents transform two little boys into talented and respectful young men who have excelled beyond any mothers' expectations. Connie I am content that you are with your king and i know God will ease the pain and increase the peace within the hearts of your husband and sons during your departure from this earth.
