Concepcion Carmouze's Obituary
Concepcion “Conchita” Carmouze passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, surrounded by family at home in Tampa, Florida. Conchita was born on January 9, 1931, in Havana Cuba, to Francisco and Maria Cascante. On September 12, 1958, she married the love of her life, Arnaldo Carmouze, M.D., and together they shared thirty-nine wonderful years of marriage until he passed. Conchita graduated from the Universidad de la Havana in 1961 with a degree in Public Accounting and immigrated to the United States with her young family soon thereafter.
Settling in Miami, Florida, Conchita lived a full life raising her children and doting on her grandchildren. Conchita loved her family and was especially proud of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Arnaldo Carmouze, and daughter, Isis Castellvi (Guillermo), and her grandchildren Arnaldo Carmouze (Helen), Mark Carmouze (Megan), Cristina Castellvi, Daniel Castellvi, Katherine Castellvi, and David Castellvi (Tiffany).
A Memorial Mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on March 2, 2026, at 10:00 am, with Father Don Amodeo presiding.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research.
