Miss Annette always welcomed me in her home with a big smile. I have many memories with Miss Annette, but the one that's popping to the top of the list today because we laughed so much was her trying to teach me how to play a VERY simple tune on the piano. Right before moving to Florida, I went to visit them one night. Don Ramon was in the TV room and Miss Annette was with me in the living room, and we talked for a bit and then we sat together at the piano. She attempted to teach me how to play, and that went as well as expected. So then she played for me, saying she was out of practice, but sounding fantastic to me. We always had good laughs, whenever we saw each other.
She will be missed, I'm glad she could be close to her grandkids for these past years, I saw how much she enjoyed that.
Jen y Ramón, she was blessed with you as her children. She got to see you grow up into responsible, caring, productive adults. And she knew she was loved and looked after until the very last day and that is the best present a mother can get. Les mando un gran abrazo, los quiero muchísimo. Cualquier cosa que necesiten, cuenten conmigo.
