Christian Volf's Obituary
Christian V. Volf, 82, of Odessa, Florida, passed away on February 15, 2026.
Born on January 1, 1944, in Los Angeles, CA, Chris lived a life marked by faith, service, and devotion to family.
A proud member of the United States Air Force, Chris served his country with honor and carried that same discipline and integrity as a private charter pilot then into a distinguished career as an executive in the financial arena. While he achieved professional success, his greatest priorities were his faith and his family.
Chris was a man of deep and abiding Presbyterian faith. He faithfully served as an elder at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church for 40 years, dedicating himself to teaching, mentoring, and encouraging others in their walk with Christ. Sharing his faith brought him immense joy.
He loved photography and had a special appreciation for capturing meaningful moments through his lens. He also enjoyed shooting sports and the fellowship that accompanied them. Above all, his proudest accomplishment was his marriage. He shared 52 devoted years with his beloved wife, Sharon Mikel Volf, whom he was preceded in death by.
He is lovingly remembered by his nephew, Jason Mikel (Shanah), his great-niece, Haley Mikel; and his niece, Aimee Mikel, who were blessed by his steady presence and faithful example.
The funeral service for Chris will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 1 PM at Hope Church in Lutz, FL. Interment will follow immediately at Trinity Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Trinity, FL.
Chris’s life was a testament to service — to his country, his church, and the Lord he faithfully followed. His legacy of integrity, devotion, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who knew him.
