Charles Neu's Obituary
It is with great sadness that our family announce the passing of Charles Donald (Don) Neu on Monday, August 21, 2023. A recent resident of Trinity, Florida, Don enjoyed 88 years of life filled with love and laughter with family and friends alike. And was a devout member of the Catholic Church.
Don is survived by his loving wife Marilyn Pauline Neu with whom he has shared many years of adventures and treasured moments filled with love.
Born 7/31/1935 in St Louis County, Missouri to Parents William C Neu and Dorothy L Neu, Don spent many years working, living and becoming an avid Cardinals baseball fan.
After graduating from Ritenour High school in St Louis, Don became a proud member of The United States Air Force from 1953 to 1956 where he served tours in Okinawa, Japan and Las Vegas, Nevada and met his best friend and future brother-in-law Lou Berkhart.
Upon discharge from the Air Force, Don secured employment at Union Electric in St. Louis, Missouri where he stayed until his much-deserved retirement.
Dons' life has been enriched by a loving family that will now find comfort in the many memories of Dons jokes and laughter.
