Chanda’s journey began in Maharashtra, India, where she spent a joyful childhood alongside her four siblings. Married at 14, she later navigated a "tuff and challenging" life with a grace that was nothing short of heroic.
Widowed young, she dedicated herself entirely to her three children, providing extraordinary care for her son and serving as a mentor to all. She was our constant—a source of emotional and physical strength who lived by the belief that a mother’s presence is a divine gift.
Since moving to be with us to Florida in 2000, she remained the heart of our family. Her life was a testament to the power of a positive attitude; she handled every trial with a smile and a spirit that refused to complain. She taught us that love is found in staying together.
