Cecilia Torres, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on February 2, 1948, passed away on June 27, 2024, in Lutz, Florida. She was the beloved daughter of Jorge Santos and Matilde Centeno.
Survivors in addition to her husband of 30 years married and 40 years together, Juan Torres, include her daughter Betty Delgado (Jeffrey Delgado) of Tampa, Florida; daughter Veronica Frederick (Kevin Frederick) of Land O Lakes, Florida. She was a proud grandmother of Tiffany Delgado, Samantha Hernandez (Erick Hernandez) of Tampa, Florida, Ashley Borrero (Tyler Hayes) of Land O Lakes, Florida and Justin Borrero of Tampa, Florida; and an even more proud great grandmother of Leilani Salas, Adalyna Hernandez and Elliot Hayes. She is also survived by her siblings Frank Arce, Sonia Hernandez, Nelson Santos and Ramona Hernandez.
Cecilia was the devoted wife of Juan Torres and a loving mother. Known for her hard work and dedication, she spent her life as a talented seamstress, providing for her family with love and care. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
