Carol Scavone's Obituary
Carol Ann Scavone, passed away on November 1, 2024, in Tampa, FL at the age of 87. She was born on December 26, 1936, in Elizabeth, NJ. Carol was a beloved wife to Dominick Anthony Scavone, with whom she shared many wonderful years until his passing in 2011. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, John Dutkowsky, and her brother, Bobby Kotches.
Carol leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her surviving family members: daughters Kathy Goodwine, Cindy Dutkowsky, and Penny Cevasco, along with 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
In her professional life, Carol dedicated over 30 years to Bealls in Crystal River, where she was a respected member of the community. She was known for her dedication and hard work, leaving a lasting impact on all those around her. Carol also enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with her girlfriends every Thursday, as well as dining at the club. Her warm personality and infectious laughter brightened the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
Carol will be remembered for her pure heart, kind spirit, and radiant smile that could light up any room. She touched the lives of many with her generosity and compassion, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.
Bay Hope Church in Lutz, FL, will honor Carol with a Celebration of Life on Monday, November 11th, with a viewing at 10:30 am, Celebration of Life at 11am and a Repast immediately following.
Carol will reunite with her loving husband, Dominick, in eternal rest on Tuesday, November 12th at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL, 1:30pm.
In memory of Carol, her family kindly requests that donations be made to Bay Hope Church. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love and joy she brought into the world. Rest in peace, Carol Ann Scavone.
