Carol was a beautiful, intuitive soul, full of kindness for all. She was my neighbor for about nine years, and our friendship will never die. There were some dark times in my life when I lived next door to Carol, Tom, Kevin and Diana. Carol always seemed to call or show up on those days, inviting us for dinner, bringing her famous sugar cookies, just sitting on the front steps for a talk. As her brain declined, we still shared some moments of singing old songs at the memory care on my annual visits to Florida. I am so sad that Covid prevented my last scheduled visit with Carol. She will always be a shining light in my life.
