Brij K Parasher's Obituary
We celebrate the life of our beloved father, aged 97, Brij Kumar Parasher, son of our respected Grandfather, Gayan Chand and Durga Devi Parasher.
His journey was marked by resilience, wisdom, and love. Born in Amritsar, India, the third of eight children, he was the first to graduate college at just 19 in 1947. He began his career in Income Tax Division, but with a vision for a better life for family, he moved to England in 1963, where he worked his way from a factory to senior role at Mars Confectionary.
His unwavering sense of responsibility, truthfulness, and support extended across continents and many decades, from India to England, Canada and USA. He retired early to enjoy life and, with his devoted spouse, Nirmal, was always present for family. After moving to USA in 2021, he shared care for his spouse, deep love for his three children, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Known for his wise counsel and meaningful conversations, he was a pillar of strength to family and friends. We will forever cherish his hearty smile, warm heart, continuous support and enduring wisdom.
