Bonnie Grace Tew's Obituary
Grace Tew, 95, passed away peacefully on Nov. 2, 2025, in Palm Harbor, Fla. Grace was born to Alfred and Maggie (Gatewood) McIntosh, on Aug. 7, 1930, in Geneva, Ala.
Grace raised her family and lived in Wauchula for 50 years and worked for many years at the Wauchula City Hall and Hardee County Clerk of Courts office. She was an expert in Southern cuisine and loved to cook for her family. She was a lifelong avid reader and lover of dice and card games. Grace never met a stranger, and she always enjoyed chatting with her friends and family.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Maggie McIntosh; husband, Harold Tew; sisters, Carol Ward and Ann Nichols; and brother, Carl Nichols.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (Susan) Tew, of Fort Myers, Fla., and Joel (Cindy) Tew, of Palm Harbor; sisters, Willene McIntosh Munsterteiger, of Boerne, Texas, and Jane McIntosh Brunson, of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Jordan (Jonathan) Railsback, of Virginia, Jessica Lamb, of Washington, DC, Jennifer (Sean) Koran, of Ohio, Courtney (Tim) Sullivan, of Dunedin, Fla., and Whitney Tew, of Fort Myers; as well as four great-grandchildren: Penelope, Teddy, Kayla, and Emma.
The family will hold a private memorial service.
