Bharti Parikh October 22, 1945 – March 27, 2026
It is once again with a heavy heart and sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Bharti Parikh, a loving mother, proud grandmother and gentle soul.
Born in Balasinor, India, and raised in Mumbai, Bharti married the love of her life, Ramesh Parikh, shortly after graduating from college and together they embarked on an incredible journey to America. Bharti embraced her life in this country enjoyed a successful career for over 20 years as a research chemist at Arkwright Inc. in Warwick, RI before retiring to sunny Florida. She built numerous friendships throughout her career and was recognized by many for her accomplishments.
Above all, Bharti was defined by her deep love for family. She and Ramesh shared 60 beautiful years of marriage before hisrecent passing, and we are convinced that in many ways she passed from a broken heart. Their marriage was grounded intrust, mutual respect and unshakable support. Together, they raised two sons, Nimo (married to Sweta) and Ashish (married to Viraj), instilling in them the values of integrity, hard work, and compassion.
Bharti’s primary joy in life, however, was her grandchildren —Nikhal, Roshni, Deven, and Shay—each of whom brought her immeasurable pride and happiness. She always said that she had four chambers in her heart and each one of her four grandchildren occupied a permanent place within them. Her warmth, guidance and loving embraces will forever be remembered by her children and grandchildren.
Bharti’s journey was truly a love story. To give up everything and everyone you know to start fresh in a new world embodies the human spirit and is a testament to the power of faith and love. She leaves behind a family and legacy who will be forever grateful for her kind spirit, eternal wisdom and the love she shared with them.
Bharti’s last wish for this world was for peace and kindness. In lieu of flowers, the family simply asks that you do one kind deed for someone in your life and pass it forward.
JaiJai-Shree-Gokulesh and God bless.
