Betty Blain 's Obituary
Betty D. Blain was born on July 22, 1930 and passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Betty was married to Dale O. Blain on Nov. 25, 1950. She was a resident of Kankakee, Il until 1997 when they moved to Lutz, FL to be close to family.
Betty enjoyed being with her family and loved everything about being a homemaker. In her earlier years she enjoyed gardening, sewing, ballroom and square dancing and she was an avid reader of The Bible and a woman of prayer. She was baptized into Christ in 1985.
Surviving are her husband Dale Blain of Lutz, FL, daughter Vicki Azzarelli and son-in-law Rick Azzarelli of Land O Lakes, FL, granddaughter Jennifer Azzarelli of Tampa, FL, grandson Jason Azzarelli and his wife Rachel Azzarelli of Tampa, FL, and her twin great-granddaughters Brynn Azzarelli and Ellie Azzarelli.
Also surviving her sister Lucille Skibinski of Simi Valley, California. They had many special friends through the years too numerous to mention. In their home in Florida they were surrounded by many neighbors who took them under their wings and visited, brought food, invited them to their get-togethers and took them many places. A special thanks to Larry Dodd, one of their neighbors, who was like the son they never had.
She also had two special care-givers in her last few weeks of life, Nulvi "Stephanie" Murray and Elsie Torres. They were angels sent by God.
Her memorial service will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, FL 34655 (off of route 54) on May 24, 2019. Visitation 2:30-3:00PM; Service 3:00-4:00PM.
