Bette Anne Zauner Bryant
LEESBURG, FL.-Bette Bryant age 76, died September 30, 2020, at Brookdale Pine Castle Assisted Living Facility. She was born April 24, 1944, at MeadowBrook Hospital, East Mcadow, N.Y. the daughter of Arthur J. Zauner and Louise G. Thunhorst Zauner.
Bette graduated from Babylon High School the class of 1962. Following high school graduation, Bette join the United States Air Force and received an honorable discharge, March 1964 . During the next decade Bette served in the United States Air Forces Reserves honorable discharge in August 1981.
Bette married the love of her life William Mark Bryant and enjoyed 37 together. Bette was a member of the local VFW. During the course of her life Bette was a devoted wife, mother and daughter. She received her Associate Arts degree in May of 1998. Over the course of her life she worked in the accounting field at various place most notably at the University of South Florida where she retired on 2002. Bette enjoyed taking care of family, church, reading and needle point. Bette was a member of her local VFW.
Bette is predeceased by: husband William Mark Bryant, mother Louise Georgianna Thurnhorst Zauner, father Arthur J. Zauner, and sister Louise G. Zauner.
Surviving relations include: daughter Bette Susan Bryant Barnard, sone in law Gary Charles Barnard, grandson Arthur Mark Bryant, sister Louise Jean, sister Jeannette Ratner, nieces Rhonda and Marlene, nephew Frank and numerous grand nieces and nephews.
There will be visitation from 12:00 to 2:00 pm on October 5, 2020. The service of remembrance will then be held at 2:00 pm with a grave side service afterwards on October 5, 2020. Every one is welcome to attend and celebrate Bette’s life.
