Barbara Paradiso's Obituary
Barbara Paradiso, 68 of Tampa, Florida passed away on January 3, 2025. She was born in Manhattan, New York on May 9, 1956. Her family relocated and she was raised in the Bulls Head section of Staten Island, New York. She attended and graduated from Port Richmond Highschool and Staten Island Community College where she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education. Barbara and her husband moved their family to Tampa, Florida where they raised their two children.
Barbara was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who meant so much to many over the years. Her love for children and education led her to become a certified home daycare provider for over 10 years. She and her husband were both heavily involved in Marriage Encounter and parish life at Saint Timothy Catholic Church in Lutz, Florida. She had a deep commitment to her Catholic faith and brought others to the faith throughout her life.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Pasquale Paradiso, her mother Elba Osusky, and her father John Gomez. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Janine and her husband Patrick Moran, their son John Moran, and Marissa Paradiso. She is also survived by her sister Patricia Mullarkey and several nieces and nephews.
Her memory will live on forever in the lives of those she touched.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th at 11:00 am at Saint Timothy Catholic Church in Lutz, Florida. 17512 Lakeshore Road, Lutz, Florida 33558.
In lieu of flowers or donations the family requests remembrance trees be planted.
