Barbara Fridley's Obituary
Barbara Fridley passed away surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and compassion. Barbara is survived by her mother, Mary Bowen, her brothers Lewis Bowen Jr., Robert Bowen, Thomas Bowen, her two children, Christina Fridley and Michael Fridley (Jodi), and her two granddaughters Madison and Mackenzie, who were the pride and joy of her life. She was preceded in passing by her grandfather Lewis Bowen and her brother Richard Bowen. She was a devoted daughter, loving mother and grandmother, and cherished friend whose warmth touched everyone who knew her.
Barbara had a passion for antiquing and could often be found searching for unique treasures and hidden gems. She also enjoyed shopping and had an eye for finding beauty in both the old and the new. A devoted animal lover, Barbara had a special affection for golden retrievers and her wild animal friends. Barbara dedicated more than twenty years of faithful Federal service with the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she worked with professionalism, integrity, and a deep commitment to serving those who had served our nation. Her career reflected her caring nature and desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Barbara will be remembered for her generous spirit, her love of family, her compassion for animals, and the countless memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and the lessons she shared will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
