Barbara J. Feenick's Obituary
Palm Harbor - Barbara Jean Feenick, known to friends and family as “Bobbie”, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2019 at the age of 86. She was a loving resident of HarborChase of Palm Harbor.
Bobbie will be forever remembered by her family including her surviving husband of 63 years Jack, her daughter Mary Mansour (George), and sons John (Susan), and Jim (Kate). She leaves behind 4 cherished grandsons Nathan Mansour, Andrew Boyle, and Ryan & Jack Feenick.
Bobbie was born to parents Willard & Edith Lewis of Connellsville, Pennsylvania in 1933. She attended Slippery Rock University and earned her teaching degree in 1955. Bobbie & Jack lived in Bainbridge, New York for many years where Bobbie taught physical education and fifth & sixth grade. She served as the high school cheerleading coach for many years. Her former students often comment that her positive influence had a real impact on their lives. In their retirement years, Bobbie and Jack moved to Ocean City, Maryland and later became full-time residents in Florida.
An avid golfer, Bobbie enjoyed playing for competition and pleasure and made two hole-in ones over the progression of her golfing years. She enjoyed playing bridge and attending various symphonic music festivals. Bobbie also had a deep love and appreciation of the mountains of North Carolina and enjoyed camping in the Adirondack’s with her family. Throughout her life, she was active in in community service work fostering the growth of girls in sports, meals-on-wheels, fund raising for cancer and other health issues.

A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Father Brad Reed will be celebrated, on Monday, June 3rd at 10am at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church located at 2405 Philippe Pkwy, Safety Harbor, Florida, 34695.
