April Elaine Walters (Griscom), 43, passed on Sunday August 18, 2024 in Tarpon Springs, Florida. April was born in Orlando, Florida on March 21, 1981. As a young girl, April grew up in Riverside, New Jersey and moved back to Florida during her adult life. April loved life, her friends, family and taking each day as it came.
April is survived by her children Kayden Griscom of Pittsburgh, PA, Julianna Tabone of Port Richey, FL, Her mother Julie Walters of Titusville, FL, her siblings Jennifer Kurzawski (Thomas) of Pittsburgh, PA, Christopher Walters (Christine) of Wexford, PA, Jessica Streater (Jonathan) of Pitman, NJ, and Matt Walters (Justine) of West Chester, PA, along with many nieces nephews, cousins and extended family. April was preceded by her father, Jon Michael Walters.
April, "Hoppy", was loved and meant something special to each person she knew. A good time never passed by April as she enjoyed each sunset, every wave and embraced a smile during the good and bad times.
Surrounded by close family and friends, April was laid to rest at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Trinity, Florida on August 20, 2024
