Sometimes the moment you meet someone you just know they are going to be a special person in your life. Aunt Anne you were that and more; a true blessing to have known and loved you. Aunt Ann was a wonderful person from the day I met her 55 years ago. She was always loving and kind and made you feel good. The last time I spoke to her was in December when she called me to ask how my cataract surgery went. Aunt Ann was always thoughtful like that, thinking about others before herself. Aunt Ann and Uncle Tom were best friends to the end with my parents and the four of them had great respect for each other. I am sure the whole gang (Big Bob, Vivian, my parents Frank and Ruth, Vera and Bill) are having a blast up there while Big Bob makes a big pot of spaghetti and meatballs, the girls play maj jong and my Dad and Bill play pool. Aunt Ann was a beautiful person with a kind soul and love in her heart for all. I loved our chats and taking trips down memory lane with her. Since her passing, I have shed countless tears, for I have lost the closest person I have to being a second mother. Se always made me feel so loved. However, at the same time, I rejoice because she is with Jesus and again with Uncle Tom and my parents. The entire pool volleyball crew are back together again celebrating the arrival of Aunt Ann. Let the games begin, let their laughter echo through heaven, and let their love shine down on all of us. Aunt Ann I will forever feel blessed that you were such a big part of my life.
