Anne Marie Conti October 6, 1951 – January 18, 2026 Anne Marie Conti, 74, passed away on January 18, 2026, in Florida, where she had made her home for the past 35 years.
Born on October 6, 1951, in the Bronx, New York, Anne Marie lived a life rooted in love, dedication, and deep compassion for others. On January 4, 2003, Anne Marie married her beloved husband, Joseph Conti. Together, they shared nearly 30 years of devotion, support, and enduring love. Anne Marie was the cherished daughter of Antoinette Helms and Frank Helms, and the beloved sister of Francine, with whom she shared a lifelong bond.
A lifelong learner and devoted educator, Anne Marie earned her Master of Science in Education from Iona College in New York. She spent 50 years as a teacher, specializing in special education and working with troubled children. Her patience, kindness, and unwavering belief in every child’s potential changed lives and left an incredible mark on all who knew her. Teaching was not simply her career—it was an expression of who she was. Above all else, Anne Marie was a devoted mother to her three children, Marissa, Maria, and Michael. She often spoke of them as her greatest accomplishments and took immense pride in the people they became. Her heart overflowed with joy when she was with her grandchildren, Hunter, Maddox, and Riley, especially while watching them play and grow. In her quieter moments, Anne Marie found peace sitting by the pool or at the beach, soaking in the sunshine, watching sports, reading a good book, and working on crossword puzzles. These simple joys reflected her gentle spirit and thoughtful nature.
A service celebrating Anne Marie’s life will be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens on January 31, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Viewing will begin at 2:30 PM, followed by the service at 3:30 PM. A private family burial will take place afterward. Anne Marie will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to family, and the countless lives she touched through her work and her heart. She will live on not only through her husband Joseph, her children, grandchildren, and sister, but their spouses Taylor, Jason, Maegan, and Mike. She was known as Mom, Meema, Toots , and Sis, but to us most importantly she was EVERYTHING. "WE LOVE YOU MORE"
