Anne Burkhart's Obituary
Anne was born in Sarasota, Florida on February 22, 1945. The oldest of nine siblings, Anne was a second mother to her brothers and sisters and the matriarch of her family. She married the love of her life, David, in 1980 and they seldom spent a day apart in their 44 years together. Anne was a member of North Pointe Church in Lutz where loved spending Sundays working in the church nursery.
She is preceded in death by her mother Gloria Harmon, her brother Frank Green, and sisters Debra Langford and Jean Peak. Anne is survived by her husband David Burkhart, sisters Donna Billo (Pelegrin), Dorothy Langford (Eldon), Diana Harmon (Gary), brothers Michael Green and Glenn Harmon (Sue) as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and countless adopted family members collected over the years.
Anne loved to travel, read, volunteer, and crochet, but more than anything, she loved spending time with and taking care of her family. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.
A celebration of Anne’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024 at North Pointe Church, 19862 Amanda Park Drive, Lutz, FL, 33559.
The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to North Pointe Church of Lutz or The Rucki Hospice Care Center of Zephyrhills
