Anna Sherman's Obituary
Anna Sherman, (Anna Dulce), mother to Amanda Sherman, passed away on Friday February 9, 2024 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Her final moments were spent in the hospices of Chapters Health System using the Peaceful Passages program in New Port Richey, surrounded by family and close friends.
Anna lived a beautiful life. Her husband, Arnold adored her and together they traveled the world at every opportunity. Anna was an outstanding cook of all sorts of dishes… native Latin fares, Spanish cuisine, and from some Italian in her family, outrageous good lasagna and manicotti. And loved chocolate…especially ice cream. Anna loved music playing Brasil composer Jaobert’s famous soundtrack from the movie classic “Black Orpheus” will get Dulce doing a 3/4 samba shuffle.
She is survived by daughter Amanda Sherman, daughter in law, Brenda Erazo, and grandchildren, Kiersten DuRie, Skylar and Zoey Sherman-Erazo. A private ceremony will be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens on Monday February 19, 2024 at 1:30 pm. and the family will receive friends there at 1: pm. Flowers, donations, and memorial gifts are welcome, but not necessary.
