Andres Morales Cintron's Obituary
Andrés Morales Cintrón, 72, of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa.
He was born on March 16, 1953, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, to the late Andrés Morales Rosado and Esther Cintrón Torres. A proud graduate of Ponce High School, Class of 1971, Andrés dedicated his professional life to sales. He worked as a Sales Manager for 25 years, eventually becoming the Caribbean Regional Manager in the cookware industry.
On September 28, 1979, Andrés married the love of his life, Basilisa Martínez Figueroa. Together, they shared 47 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, family, and laughter. His greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was watching his children grow into responsible and accomplished adults who built their own lives with integrity and love.
A man of passions, Andrés enjoyed horse racing, baseball, and cooking, but above all, he cherished his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and two beloved sons. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Basilisa; daughters Lizandra Morales, Joselyn Morales, and Maiselyn Morales; and son Andres Morales. He is also survived by extended family and friends who will forever treasure his memory.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Mario Figueroa officiating. Loved ones are invited to gather for visitation at the same location from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
The family expresses gratitude for the care and support provided by Moffitt Cancer Center, as well as for the love and comfort extended by family and friends during this time.
Andrés will be remembered for his dedication, his love for his family, and the integrity with which he lived his life.
