Almaree Shattuck's Obituary
Almaree Shattuck, age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in her residence in Tarpon Springs, FL on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
Almaree was a loving, fun and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. The most important thing she valued in life was her family (her husband George, her children Doreen, Crystal and Phil, her 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren). In her earlier years, she worked as an administrative assistant and volunteered in the community. She especially enjoyed traveling with her husband and family with memorable trips to Alaska, Europe and the Bahamas. Aside from her commitment to her family, she enjoyed bowling for over 50 years and played in area leagues until the age of 84. While she faced challenges and struggles the last 2 years of her life, she did so with courage and conviction.
Almaree was predeceased by her beloved husband George, brothers Tom and Sonny and sister AnnieLee.
Friends and family are invited to her memorial service on Saturday, September 6th at 11am at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive Trinity FL. Celebration of life luncheon will follow at Crescent Oaks Golf Country Club, 3300 Crescent Oaks Blvd, Tarpon Springs, FL 34688.
