Alana Blake's Obituary
Alana Marie Blake, 65, of Odessa, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2024. Born on September 7, 1958 in Noblesville, Indiana, to the late Jim and Clella Lewis, Alana shared many happy years with her beloved husband, JD Blake. Together, they cherished their time on cruises, especially to the warm waters of the Caribbean.
Alana worked as an executive administrative assistant at a pharmaceutical benefit management company within the healthcare system. She was known for her dedication to both her family and her work, always striving to excel in everything she did. Whether planning events for work or offering a sympathetic ear to friends and family, Alana’s kindness and determination were evident to all who knew her.
Alana had a creative spirit. She was particularly skilled at making beautiful flower arrangements and crafting thoughtful gift baskets. Her artistic touch brought joy and beauty to many occasions.
She is survived by her husband, Jack D Blake; her son, Jeremy D Blake; her sister, Lauri Willson; her brother, Matt Lewis; her stepson, Justin Blake (Misty); her step-grandsons, Paxton and Preston Blake; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be held on August 31, 2024, from 1 PM to 2 PM, followed by a memorial service from 2 PM to 3 PM at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, FL 34655.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Friends of Pasco County Library System, Inc.
Alana will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and the joy she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed.
