Adolfo Santos' Obituary
Adolfo Santos, born on April 10, 1938 in Guanica, Puerto Rico went to heaven to be with his wife of 63 years, Arsenia, who preceded his passing on August 18th 2022. After a long illness, Adolfo passed away peacefully at home in Tampa on March 18, 2024.
Adolfo retired from the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HARTline), after 18 years as a Service/Maintenance Technician, where he worked with many friends and even family. Adolfo was an avid reader of books. He also loved his horse racing, and on any given Saturday, you could probably find him enjoying a day at the races at Tampa Bay Downs. He could have been a professional pool player, but he just enjoyed the game, and if you made the mistake of betting him, you'd be giving your money away.
Most importantly, Adolfo was extremely proud of his large family which includes: 4 children; Maria Torres (Edgardo), Doris Santos Williams (Jeff), Lisette Rodriguez (Pedro Sr.), and Adolfo Jr. who selflessly and lovingly was his caregiver for the last several years; 5 grandchildren; Pedro Rodriguez Jr (Samantha), Jessica Morales (Joseph), Alex Lopez (Stephen), Milagros Torres, and Amanda Williams; also 5 great grandchildren (Ellis Rodriguez, Lincoln Lopez, Leo Morales, Alivia Lopez, and Lucas Morales.
Adolfo's other family members include 4 brothers, 3 sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews who referred to him as "Tio".
