Adele Alexandra Ormsby's Obituary
Adele A. (Lapinski) Ormsby, (79) passed away peacefully on June 22, 2023, with her family by her side at Gulfside Hospice at Heather Hall. She was born on August 10, 1943, the daughter of the late Walter and Vlady (Dembrowski) Lapinski. She was a graduate of Cathedral H.S. Springfield. MA and continued her education, having received her nursing degree from Western Massachusetts Hospital School. Adele worked as a nurse for 30 years and impacted the lives of many of her patients. In 1999, Adele moved to Palm Harbor, where she continued her nursing career, made many close friends, and enjoyed playing golf regularly. She is survived by her daughter Karen (Andrew) Kemp; daughter Kathleen Ormsby Stahl; and son, Waterman Guy (Rochelle) Ormsby. She leaves behind four grandchildren; Max and Madelyn Kemp, Kai Stahl, and Emma Ormsby. Adele was predeceased by her twin sister Antoinette Rooney and her older sister Patricia Spanswick. Chapel Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 1, at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Adele’s memory to Metropolitan Ministries, 2002 N. Florida Avenue, Tampa, FL.
