I worked with Joan. At nassau extended care in Hempstead, NY (I guess around 1999-2000). She was a truly amazing person. She was a true powerhouse. I learned so much from her. She did her job so well and was so helpful to everyone. At that time she lived alone. She told me that she eat potato chips for dinner sometimes. Her sense of humor was amazing. I think of her often. I'm sure she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Jamie
