I watched the memorial; Reverend Robert Schecker did a wonderful eulogy in describing his long-time friend, Ron, through scriptures and his personal life experiences. It really touched my heart.

From our childhood days growing up in West New York, NJ., Ron and I have been friends since elementary school (P.S. #5) and throughout our adult lives. His kindness and generosity towards me over the years along with his faith filled prayer and spiritual life continue to inspire me to emulate his example in many ways. From being high school basketball managers together to Ron playing the high school band's base drum, coupled with many shared vacations on the island of Kauai, remind me of countless memories I have of our long lasting friendship.
