I am so very sorry that I just learned of Julie's passing!! I met Julie 15 years ago when I participated in the National Arts Marketing Program in Chicago. Julie and the program literally changed my life - and I so valued Julie's smart, creative and earnest passion for the arts!! Julie will be sorely missed, may she rest in peace.
I only knew Julie a short time but she has left a mark on me for life.
I met Julie through a TNBC support group on Facebook. She was an amazing lady and an inspiration to many. With all that Julie was going through, she ALWAYS supported her pink sister's and never complained about her own journey. I was so happy for her when she was able to go on vacation with her parents. She was a true blessing and a friend I will never forget. I really miss talking to her 💔
I was one of the lucky ones to have known Julie, she was a beautiful women inside and out. I still remember when I first met Julie 4 years ago and will never forget her and our talks. Condolences to Julie's family. She will be greatly missed.

"Jujube Franzee" was my love name for her. I'm not sure she ever liked it as much as I did but I liked the lightness of it when things got tense for her. I was her "personal librarian" as she called me and always said that everyone should have a personal librarian! I'm not sure about that either! We bonded over our love of playing RummyQ and drinking wine and that's what we did as often as we could, which wasn't ever often enough!
Julie took me to Bern's for the first and only time I've ever been there so I will always think of her when I get the chance to go again. We had a wonderful night and that's when she showed me how delicious Malbec wine is! I miss Julie so much but we all know she's in a better place than the rest of us. I'll be seeing you again someday, sweet Jujube! Love you more than you probably ever knew!

Julie, or better known as 'Cool Julie by my girls and I. Such a great personality, her perspective on life across generations and ability to laugh at just about everything. And expand to some Polish joke. :-). Julie shared depth her biblical knowegedwith me that not only expanded my personal knowledge, but also my ability to share with others Julie shared our traditional Pierogi making at Christmas time. And will always be remembered in our future Pierogi days. She will be missed. But I anticipate our reunion in Heaven.
