Pushpa Rohit Vyas, 69, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2024 with her family by her side. Pushpa was born on January 24, 1954 to the late Sheela and Shankar Dixit in Mulund, Maharashtra, India. The youngest of three siblings Read Obituary
My husband and I met Pushpa in November 1981 on a flight she was taking to join Rohit in Botswana. That was the beginning and as it transpired, in the last 44 years, we have enjoyed true friendship as friends who became family. Pushpaben was a very loving, genuinely caring person, who lived the path of righteousness and lent a helping hand to everyone who crossed her path, the driving force for everyone!
We have had some wonderful times which are very memorable and will always put a smile on our faces when we remember them. Pushpa had a very hearty and infectious laugh. She enjoyed life and was also a key inspiration for all of her four grandees. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
Words are poor comforters but think of all the good times you’ve spent together, cherish all the sweet memories and it will put a smile on your face.
May God grant eternal peace to her soul and strength and courage to you dears to bear this irreparable loss!

Mitali, Kathy, and family, I know very well that no words can ease the great loss of your mom. But I hope that the memories you have and the warmth of her love that continues beyond this lifetime brings you comfort and makes each day going forward just a little bit brighter. I wish I was able to meet Pushpa in person. I loved the stories Mitali told about how amazing her mom was and I loved her cooking! I was so touched when she baked me my very own cookies and made a special set of potatoes for me that were absolutely delicious - all without ever having met or spoken me. Her kindness and generosity were so appreciated by me, and I suspect, by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Sending my love and many, many hugs.
We remember smiling face of Pushpa throughout medical school. Had chance to meet her few years ago and had same smiling face. We pray for eternal peace and Nirvana for her soul.

Pushpa ben was always helpful and kind neighbor and we enjoyed her friendship and company for many years. We shared good memories with children and had great time. Life throws us lots of challenges and some times good people suffer also. Even God coming as an Avatar suffers and Saintly people suffer also. We pray for her soul and must say she performed her duty as a mother, wife and grand mother exceptionally.

It is with great sadness we are writing this and still find it hard to believe.
Although Pushpa left too soon, what a wonderful special life she has led leaving us with so many wonderful memories to cherish.
She has been a sincere friend to us all, bringing so much warmth and happiness to whoever she met. She was always so proud of her family and adored her grandchildren.
She was a surrogate Mother to Nahzrin who stayed with you all for a number of months and Nahzrin will always remember her as her second Mum.
We remember all the good times, hearty laughs and memories made together in Gaborone and although we haven’t been able to meet over the last number of years, the special moments we shared will always stay close to our heart.
She will be remembered as being a very special woman to us all in so many different ways as she has touched all our lives and for that we will be eternally grateful.
Thinking of you all and wishing we could be there for you in person but you are all in our thoughts.

Pushpa was my niece but we were closer like friends. She was always willing to extend a helping hand on family birthdays/occasions and festivities. Pushpa, I am going to deeply miss our hour long chats. You will always be in my heart and will remember you and your hearty laughter.
