Dr. Sergio S. Tan

I first met Uncle Sergs and his family Aunt Peggy, Cecilia, and Julian when they visited the Philippines. Maybe I was 8-10 years old. He always treated me very well and I will never forget the memories. When I arrived in NJ in 1985, he made contact and he took me to places. Golf, dinner, and even travel to visit another uncle. Some tips on girlfriends too. Uncle Sergs was a good role model: family, dad, husband, service to country, and just being super nice. I will remember him forever.

When I retired in 2004, I didn't know what to do with my time and Sergio invited me to work with him at Cheval Golf Course. This gave me the opportunity to learn more about playing golf from Sergio and it was free for us to play Cheval. We worked together for about 5 years, and I enjoyed his company and his knowledge of the game. I will miss him, and I'll keep the family in my prayers. - Bill Adamson

Not a day will go by when Sergio will not be missed. He loved his family beyond words. Sergio gave so much to remember and touch so many lives. He had such a gentle soul and a loving heart. We remember Sergio and Peggy at our wedding. I always enjoyed hearing about their Adventures.
