    Phyllis M Crosier

    July 8, 1927 - February 14, 2022

Phyllis was born on July 8, 1927 in Alliance, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Hamilton. Phyllis retired as the Civilian Admin Chief for Naval Intelligence with the US Government. Phyllis graduated from Anacostia High School in Washington DC. She went into the government as a GS-1 clerk typist after graduating. She moved to New Port Richey after retiring as the Civilian Admin Chief for Naval Intelligence with the US Government in 1977. She lost her husband, Durward T. May in 1978. After being introduced to Stanley in 1984 they dated and started traveling to more places than they can remember. They married in 1993 and continued their love story for 28 more years. Phyllis loved her children and poured that love onto her grandchildren and then her great grandchildren. Her extended family her nieces and nephews were as close as her own children. Her love of family always shown through everything she did whether for family or her friends. On Valentine’s Day heaven gained an angel. She lived life to the fullest, spunky, charming and on her terms. She was loved by so many and will be missed by all that knew and loved her. We know today she is walking the streets of gold with her heavenly family and will be watching over us all until we can join her. Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Stanley Crosier; Son, Richard T May, his wife, Janice May; step-son, David Crosier, his wife, Mariam Crosier; grandchildren, Dawn Tirrell and Nicole Crew; step-grandchildren, Ivy Crosier and Matt Crosier; and 2 great grand-children. A gathering of family and friends is to take place on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM. A Celebration of life is to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Trinity Memorial Gardens Cemetery. An upcoming livestream will take place on our website. Please check back here the day of services for the link.
