    Marianna Malinowski

    October 3, 1927 - April 8, 2022

    Marianna (Oldziej) Malinowski, 94, of Lutz, Florida, beloved wife of the late Henryk Malinowski, died Friday, April 8th 2022. Born in Broniszewo, Poland, daughter of the late Mieczyslaw and Jozefa Oldziej, she immigrated to Hartford, Connecticut on April 1, 1966. Marianna’s utmost love and devotion was to God and family. Marianna was a communicant of St. Mary Church and a member of the Polish American Social Club of Pasco County. She was known for her baking, especially her apple cake, paczki and chrusciki. She loved to knit and crochet and was an avid gardener. Marianna never forgot where she came from and helped those that were less fortunate by regularly sending packages to Poland and sponsoring numerous family members. She is survived by her six loving children and their spouses; John and Christine Malinowski of Valrico, Elizabeth and Dr. Sebastian Trombatore of Round Rock, TX, Jackie and Thaddeus Szymanski of Lutz, Mario Malinowski of Valrico, Betty and Victor DaCruz of Farmington, CT, and Robert and Jessica Malinowski of Lutz. Twelve grandchildren and their spouses, Dorothy and Donny Welch, Betty and Derek Boszko, Joseph Trombatore and Mark Berman, Ann Marie Trombatore, Amy and Ross Bennett, Lisa and Michael Wiciak, Daniel Szymanski (deceased), Ashley Zaworska, Chelsea and Parrish Castor, Ashley and Michael Scavotto, Allison DaCruz, Anthony Malinowski, and Jayden Malinowski; Twelve great grandchildren, Logan, Mya, Kaitlyn, Hailey, Lily, Lucas, Violet, Owen, Reid, Nora, Julian and Warren. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to LifePath Hospice for the support provided to the family and our beloved Mom during the final stage of her life, which allowed her to remain in the comfort of her home and in the care of her loving family. The funeral service will begin with a viewing at 9am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 15520 North Boulevard, Tampa, Florida 33613, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ss. Cyril & Methodius Church, Restoration and Renovation Fund, 63 Popieluszko Street, Hartford, CT 06106.
