Beverly May Baker
August 12, 1943 - March 28, 2022
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts we share the news of Beverly (Bev) Baker’s passing on March 28th, 2022. She transitioned peacefully and in no pain in the morning hours at the age of 78. She joins her husband; Richard Baker, who surely has been awaiting her arrival for the last 6 years and embraced her even before her transition. (We know he never left her side.) As well as her sister; Joyce Davis-Burke and her niece; Carol Gualdiero. She is survived by her two adoring sons; Greg and Tom Baker, her best friend of 42 years; Joanne Kauffman, her daughter-in-law; Michelle Baker, her in-laws; Dave, Marty, Steve, Jackie and Marilyn Baker, her beloved nephews and nieces; Marissa Baker, Patrick Baker, Susan Welch, Peter Davis, Sally Marvin, and Andy Davis, her great-nieces and nephews, and countless friends who were considered family and loved her deeply. And perhaps most importantly, she is survived by Buttons Baker, her sweet 11-year-old senior pup who laid by her side through all the good, the sad and the wonderful. Bev loved to be a part of things; she loved a to-do! Because of this we will hold a grand celebration for her. We will play Judy Collins and Neil Diamond. We will share stories. We will have a slide show with epically funny family and friend photos doing what Bev loved most, laughing! Complimentary food and drinks will be provided. The celebration will be held at: Trinity Memorial Gardens Saturday April 2nd 11am-2pm Flowers may be sent directly to Trinity Memorial, Bev LOVED flowers. Following her celebration of life, flowers will be donated to the local hospital to brighten the day of a patient, just like it brightened Bev's in February. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be sent to Suncoast Animal League, a wonderful and beloved non-profit animal rescue she volunteered for, for many years. http://suncoastanimalleague.org/
