My name is Jacqueline Turso and I became friends with Maria when God made us neighbors in the cove here in Florida. She was someone who welcomed me and valued my opinion without making me uncomfortable about moving back home with my parents and living in a retirement community. She gave me advice on finding employment and not taking life for granted. She was a kind soul and I feel blessed to have known her. I pray she is looking down on me now offering me her angelic protection.

Maria was a true gift from God. She would brighten any conversation or get together. We especially enjoyed her sausage and peppers. Sharing coffee in the morning and then having her tell me to leave so she could go back to bed. Mike and I enjoyed her great sense of humor.
