Napoli, Karen, 52, of Odessa, went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2014. She was a Physical Therapist for Largo Medical Center for 29 years. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Tony; son, Tony; and parents, Nick and Do Read Obituary

I became Karen's co-work in April '97 at Sun Coast Hospital. In May, on the Friday before Mother's Day, I went around wishing everyone a Happy Mother's Day. When I wished Karen, I stopped and asked if she had children. She laughed and said not yet! That August "lil" Tony came into Karen and Tony's life. She was so happy and blessed. That next Mother's Day was a special one when I wished her Happy Mother's Day. She laughed and we hugged. She was the best mother, wife, daughter, co-worker and friend. She was always calm, cool and collect at work, never did I see her upset. From day one at work she called me Ursie ( a fond nickname from my childhood).
My deepest sympathies to Tony, "lil" Tony and the rest of Karen's family. "lil" Tony be nothing but proud of the son you are and the man you are growing into. Your mom loved you very, very much and I saw the love you have for her that last time we were all together at Joanne's house. She will ALWAYS be in your heart. Big Tony, if we could all be blessed with a husband as loving as you.
Karen may you rest in peace in the grace and comfort of our Lord. You will be missed by EVERYONE who knew you.
